Marketing Introduction

Marketing is the art and science to identify customer needs and wants, developing a product to customer needs and wants and finally, formulation of marketing strategy, product mix. One thing is important to note, marketing and sales are not the same. Marketing activities included, before the product on the other hand, is a purchase only after product for the sale of final product to the customer.

Marketers always aim to offer products that solve customer problems and explore the new possibility of something new on the market to develop to surprise customers. We have success stories of innovative companies, 3M, Apple, Amazon and eBay products or services. Today, guests admire these giants of their original ideas.

Most products have failed in the early stages of product life cycle; this does not mean that products are not eligible to be able to meet the needs and wants of customers. There could be several reasons for the failure of products such as low dispersion, setting high expectations of customers in product advertising, pricing strategy, segmentation, and others. Advertisers have to do to build the marketing plan carefully to justice with all the marketing factors.

Today, Dell, Microsoft and HP, Amazon, Google, enjoy the achievement of Southwest Airlines and Wal-Mart, the path to success, not only because products and services they offer, but it significantly and innovative marketing to the right audience. Marketing is not the only activity is the set of activities to gather customer requirements and wants to communicate to a team of product specification, develop appropriate products and marketing plans.
